I Don’t Know – Bryan Robert & Cat Murphy Band

In December 2020, I wrote the song “I Don’t Know” and I demoed it shortly after. It became one of my favorite songs at that time fairly soon but it was missing something. Not long after, I learned that it was the perfect song to collaborate with the Cat Murphy Band again, and so I did.

We rerecorded multiple tracks on three locations, two in Vancouver, Canada, and one in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The song was released as an EDM remix by Bryan Robert and as a band mix by the Cat Murphy Band (Yes, there is a Cat Murphy Band “Extended Version” but we’re saving this for their upcoming album.) It is available on all major music platforms, such as -but not limited to- Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play Music, YouTube, Amazon Prime Music, TikTok, Pandora, and Tidal per June 2021.

Sorry (Remix) – Bryan Robert

This is an “Electronic Music Production” assignment for the Sound Education program.

Students needed to construct their own track based on a sample kit from an unpublished track. From this sample kit, I used the main vocal line, the bass drop, synth drop, chord drop, and the violins. I adjusted the chord progression significantly, added the beats, bass, piano, and synths, and redesigned the vocals to create the backing vocals.

I Don’t Know Anything

Lyrics: Bryan Robert
Music: Bryan Robert
Date: 02 October 2020

This song is inspired by artists such as the late Avicii and Lucas & Steve, and it feels like a great summer hit to me. In a collaboration, I am looking for a singer and a guitarist to straighten out the parts as I wrote them. Of course, having it produced by an artist such as Armin van Buuren, Lucas & Steve, or one with a similar sound will definitely give this song a boost.

The song is available for collaborations, so contact me using e-mail, the contact form, or social media.

For The Better

Lyrics: Bryan Robert
Music: Bryan Robert
Date: 06 December 2019

This song is written with the vocal sound of a singer such as Khalid. In my perspective, this would be a good addition to his repertoire. Feel free to share this to his A&R Manager.

The song is available for collaborations, so contact me using e-mail, the contact form, or social media.

I Want Your Love

Lyrics: Bryan Robert
Music: Bryan Robert
Date: 01 February 2020

This song is written with the vocal sound of a singer such as The Weeknd, Khalid or Jason Derulo in mind. Especially the falsetto part, is well suited for either of the singers.

The song is available for collaborations, so contact me using e-mail, the contact form, or social media.

I Want You Back – Cat Murphy Band

“I Want You Back” is the first collaboration with the CMB without being an active band member. The collaboration is even more special because parts for this song were recorded in three different locations: Vancouver and London in Canada, as well as Utrecht in the Netherlands.

The song was released on December 30th of 2020 on all major music platforms, such as -but not limited to- Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play Music, YouTube, Amazon Prime Music, TikTok, Pandora, and Tidal. The wonderful Kaitlin Deavy also made the lyric video you will find below.
